Journal from June 14, 2012
As if I didn’t watch enough horrible TV yesterday, a friend and I get together once a week to watch trashy TV including Sister Wives, 16 and pregnant, the choice etc. It’s a wonderful thing we have figured out to do this summer to stay in touch… which is turning out to not be a problem for us!
Food wise, today went really well.
Breakfast was gluten free chex yet again. Yummy :)
Lunch: i had some rice cakes as a snack then had some cold cuts wrapped in lettuce as a main thing followed by some melon.
Dinner: Chipotle Which was super good. And gluten free and vegetarian friendly for my friend.
Today I had a breakthrough moment. For the first time in a month or so I didn’t need a nap. For the first time since I contracted mono 14 months ago I didn’t fall asleep when I laid down to ‘watch TV’. It felt amazing. I had a afternoon. I completely wasted it, but it was great.
When you live a life that consists of questions like ‘how much does my head hurt’, ’ can I make it through work’. Every little bit of improvement in the quality of life helps.
